Selecting the right charging solution for your home or business can be tricky.

Electric cars are becoming more popular in the Metro Atlanta area and we stay up to date on all the newest charging methods. Let us help you from start to finish when it comes to selecting the right size charger for your electric vehicle. Selecting the right charging solution for your home or business can be tricky. Here’s a little information to help you get started:

  • Level 1 - These chargers usually come with the vehicle and use 120 volts. The slow charge usually takes 12+ hours to fully charge the vehicle. Most older homes do not have a circuit available in the garage with enough capacity to safely operate these chargers.
  • Level 2 - These chargers either plug-in or are hardwired, but all operate at 240 volts. They range in power delivery from 30 to 80 amps. Charge time will depend on the vehicle, but 1 amp is equal to about 1mph of charging for most cars. We recommend level 2 chargers for safety and function.
